Congrats to Brian NotTheMan Keane for winning the league ... finally.

S 14 game 8: Deepstack night

 

Deepstack night was upon us. Some things remained the same as it was no surprise that Larry was a no-show, but thankfully, Frank E. was able to fill in for him at the last minute.

Jeff Barton came out of the gates on fire, building a massive chip lead and striking fear into the hearts of his opponents. But as we all know, poker can be a cruel mistress, and just when you think you have it all figured out, the cards can turn on you.

And turn they did for Jeff. In a stunning turn of events, he imploded and gave his entire stack to Samero. Samero must have felt like he had hit the jackpot, not only for getting such a huge boost in chips but also for receiving a $59 bounty for taking Jeff out, courtesy of Roger. But Samero's good fortune was not to last. he got it in three ways and got sunk with AK.

Rick was salty for not winning a million dollars on Resorts House Money, but still narrowly holds the lead over Brian and Anthony going into the final month.

Jacob used his magic to start the night in 9th and somehow made the final table and went down to 10th. get Better!

 Mark Butter finally woke up this season and showed us all hes trying to get back to Vegas this year. He played a solid game, taking out Matty Meatballs Neamand along the way and ultimately taking down first place.

And with that, we move on to the final game of the season, which will be played on Sunday, May 7, at 1 pm. Who will take home the grand prize? Will Mark Butter continue his winning streak,  wil Rick hold on or will someone else rise to the top? Only time will tell, but one thing is for sure – it's going to be one hell of a game!
