Poker League Update: Season 16, Game 3 - Mystery Bounty Night 🎲💰

Mystery Bounty Night Recap
Season 16, Game 3 brought plenty of action, drama, and big wins as players competed for the highly coveted mystery bounties. The top mystery prize of $200 was up for grabs alongside several $50 bounties, keeping everyone on edge. The game came off the heels of a heated presidential election discussion, leading to lively banter around the table.

Tensions reached a boiling point when Jeff and Tina found themselves debating a hand due to how it was shown. Cooler heads ultimately prevailed, and the two moved on in good spirits. The night also saw brotherly heartbreak as Matty couldn’t let go of his pocket aces, leading to an early exit courtesy of his brother, Mikey Mush.

Subs Steal the Spotlight
Both Foster and Butter had subs filling in for them, and remarkably, both substitutes made it to the final table.

Other Highlights

  • Rick made his triumphant return with teeth fully intact. No cracker challenges were attempted this time.
  • Pete L. continues his breakout year, finishing in second place and currently sitting in the top 5 for the season. Pete also struck gold by winning the lottery bonus. Can he maintain his momentum and secure one of the top 6 Vegas spots?
  • Keane and Mikey Mush were all smiles after the Dolphins’ big win.

Hoagie’s Bounty Luck Strikes Again
Somehow, Hoagie managed to snag the top two bounty prizes of the night. With Pete L. and Keane officiating the ticket pulls, all was fair—but that didn’t stop some playful grumbling from the group. Hoagie’s streak of bounty luck seems unstoppable.

The Night’s Big Winner: Pierre
The story of the evening, however, was Pierre, who pulled off an impressive back-to-back victory—a feat that hasn’t been accomplished since Season 14. The rookie sensation is now sitting at the top of the leaderboard and proving he’s a force to be reckoned with.

Looking Ahead

The next game, Regular Bounty Night, is on December 9th and will double as our Holiday Party! Dust off your best—or ugliest—Christmas sweater and join us for a festive evening of poker. The game starts at 7:15 PM sharp.

Season 15 game 2, A Spooktacular Showdown: The First Annual Halloween Costume Poker Game

Season 15 game 2, A Spooktacular Showdown: The First Annual Halloween Costume Poker Game

The cards were dealt, the bets were placed, and the chips were stacked high in anticipation of the spookiest night of the year – the first annual Halloween Costume Poker Game in our poker league. The combination of poker, costumes, and a dash of friendly rivalry made this event one for the books.

The creativity of our league members was truly unmatched, but several fan favorites stole the show. First up was "Asian Jim" from the Office, a nod to one of the show's classic pranks. Wolverine, complete with adamantium claws, exuded an aura of intensity and fearlessness that translated into his poker game. Disco Joe danced his way into a final table. The bald, lollipop-sucking Kojak, alongside Elvis and Joe Dirt, brought the spirit of the '70s and '80s and 90's back to life. "Mr. Hotdog" turned heads with his outfit.

Of course, we can't forget the hilarious imitation costumes of Scott and Hoagie. The attention to detail in these costumes was uncanny, making it clear that our poker league members took their Halloween poker night seriously.

Check out all the costumes on this video

To reward those who went above and beyond with their costumes, we offered a 5,000 chip bonus to all players who embraced the Halloween spirit. Unfortunately, not everyone came prepared for the costume contest. Players Harry and Butter made the mistake of not dressing up and found themselves on the receiving end of some early hits. It's safe to say that they'll be sporting creative costumes next year to redeem themselves.

As the night progressed, it all came down to a massive showdown between Keane and Samero. After a short battle Keane emerged victorious, securing not only the Halloween Costume Poker Game title but also the first place in our league.

With Keane leading the way, we're now looking forward to our next event – the Mystery Bounty tournament on November 13th.

Sub City : season 4 game 4

A lot of Bad beats tonight along with some unfortunate news. Terry Heinz will be opted out of the league due to some medical issues. We wish Terry a healthy recovery.

Tonight was the fastest game to date , finishing in 3 hours and 30 minutes. It was also the most subs we have ever had in one game with 4 players being subbed out. Scott used his second sub for the season . Rob, Jankowski, and Mike L all used their first sub . Ray took down first , followed up by Dr. Shinn.

We had a new high hand for the season and that went to Neamand with a 8 High Straight flush .

Insult of the night went to Rick Waldman coming from Mike Bickford ( filling in for Rob Palmer) . Mike called Ricks plaid hat ugly and claimed he had the ugliest hat collection he had ever seen. Rick followed up by successfully sending Bickford to the rail a few hands later.

After 4 games points total are as follows (highlighted in bold are top 7 spots)

Flat call Larry - 46
Neamand " I got a night off"- 40
Dave "Early out" - 39
Ray " Making a run for it " - 29
Anthony "First out" - 26
Mike Stumpf "Team bad beat"- 26
Dr. Shinn " twins on the way" - 24
Jankowski ( Jarod Sub ) - 19
Rick " the plaid museum " - 19
No Show Scott ( Chuck as 2nd Sub)- 17
Dan " I know What You Did Last Summer " - 16
Mikey Mush ( sub - Nezzo No Snauzzz) - 16
Rob " Im on a Boat " ( sub Bickford) -4
