s 14 : Game 7 30 min levels

 

Monday night was our monthly poker league night, hosted by the one and only Mushy Mike. As always, we had a blast playing poker, laughing, and trash-talking each other. But there was one thing missing: Scott. Yep, he was a no-show, as per usual. Ray is even going to start calculating Scotts, which equals last place points.

But despite Scott's absence, the game went on. Keane, Cicali, and Foster all had subs, but it was Rick Waldman who stole the show. He went on a deep run after taking out Cicali's sub Tim Murphy by cracking his aces with pocket queens. I mean, who needs aces when you have luck, right?

The game was intense, with everyone trying their best to win. But in the end, it was down to the final three players: Neamand, Matt Lopresti, and Rick "The Grinder" Waldman. The luck of Rick paid off because he won the game for the night and now controls first place with two games remaining. Looks like Rick is the one to beat now!

We also want to give a shout out to Mushy Mike for hosting the event. We couldn't have done it without you!

All in all, it was another great night of poker and good times with friends. We can't wait for the next game on Monday, April 17th, which will be a deepstack poker night back at Cicali's house. Until then, keep practicing your poker skills and get better!

S14 Game: Poker and MNF

 Well apparently everyone thought the Eagles were more important than making it to league night. We had 5 subs and one no show.... aka Scott. This was the most ever in 14 seasons. Lesson learned, poker league trumps Eagles losses.

The subs proved to be dominant as Frank (Shinn) and Tim ( Rick) both made deep runs. At the end of the nights Cicali shipped it after taking out Keane heads up for the millionth time in life. 

Roger won lottery. Next game is the Heads Up Tournament. Game will be hosted at Mikey Mush's in Lumberton on Mon Dec 12th. generally bottom 3 have to play a round robin to get into the game. But with multiple people stuck at the bottom, bottom 4 will have to play a play off at 645 on that day. Top 2 players advance in to the Sweet 16 bracket.
