Season 15 Game 7: Deep level night

In what's usually one of the longest nights of the season, our poker night on March 4th ended surprisingly early, wrapping up by 11:30 PM. The 30-minute round levels seemed to speed up the action, with several players busting out faster than normal.

It was a tough night for some of the leaderboard regulars, as Keane, Samero, and Matt L found themselves hitting the rail early. This opened the door for Shinn and Hoagie to make moves up the ranks. Even Pete managed to stick around for the whole game and make it to the final table!

In a hilarious side challenge prop bet, Rick the Grinder attempted the saltine cracker challenge, aiming to eat 6 crackers in 1 minute. Let's just say he won't be entering any eating contests anytime soon!

On the bright side, Harry managed to snag the lottery bonus for the night. Vince, subbing for Butter, made a deep run and showed that his sub services are in high demand. Butter was sick and won't make it next month as well as he won a free cruise to a WPT poker tour event next month. GOOD LUCK

Tim filled in for Mikey Mush, who was off celebrating his birthday in AC. In the end, it was Shinn who faced off against Vince, ultimately securing his second victory of the season. With this win, Shinn is now in second place, right behind Hoagie on the leaderboard.

Mark your calendars for the next game on April 1st at 7:15 PM, Big Stack night!

Also mark your calenders Saturday July 20th Hoagie will be hosting a cash game for the Mike Tyson / Logan Paul Fight. 730PM

Game 5... Get Better

Monday night's poker league was a wild ride, with everyone showing up except for Larry. The group feasted on chili for dinner and the competition was fierce.

Keane took down first place after defeating Mushy Mike, who needs to work on his poker skills and "get better". This win propelled Keane to the top of the leader board, much to the dismay of Rick the Grinder, who was shaken after a bad play.

Jeff Barton, who arrived late to the league, finally found his footing at the final table and took home the lottery win for the night. Could this be the start of a new winning strategy for Jeff?

As always, Jacob provided a breakdown of the latest reality TV show episodes, and Samero was quiet after his beloved Cowboys lost in the playoffs. Foster brought the power of the Thundercats to the table with his exclusive card protector.

The next poker league will be Turbo night on Monday, February 20th 715pm

Mark your calendars, and get ready for an even more intense round of poker action!

S14: Game 4 Heads Up Night

It was a fun night of poker at the monthly league meeting at Mushy Mike's house. The sweet 16 style Heads Up format kept things interesting, and there was no shortage of bad beats.

To start things off, Scott, Jeff, TJ and Larry had to play a playoff round to make it into the bracket. Scott, of course, was late as usual, but he managed to make it just in time to be the first one out.

TJ hit the high hand for the night and tied Jacob for the season, but unfortunately, he ended up in fourth place. Mush also hit a J high straight flush for the night.  Keane won lottery for the night.

Cicali, on the other hand, won back to back monthly victories and ended up beating Randy Lovelace heads up in the final round. Randy caught a cooler on the last hand, as seen above.

Rick didn't realize until about two hours into the game that he was allowed to raise hands preflop.

But the real star of the night was Mushy Mike for hosting the game at his house. And even Keane didn't complain about the pizza for once!

All in all, it was a great night of poker and we can't wait for next month's league meeting.

Season 14 Starts with a Sub

Season 14 started with sub galore. Even though just about everyone came back into the league a lot of players needed a sub for their first game. Keane, Larry and Ray all used subs for the game. Ray used Tim Murphy who also won the summer tournament. In that match he went heads up against Mikey Mush Lopresti and won. History repeated itself when the two went heads up again and the same outcome occurred.

Shocker that a bunch of subs went deep and the angling Lopresti Brothers made final table appearances.

One new rule was added that allows for an emergency sub in the final game.

Jacob hit a Q high Straight flush to start off with a strong high hand.

Next game is the first ever league Mystery Bounty tournament on October 17th.
